Colour Me Spring!
With the onset of spring right around the corner, it’s no surprise that colour has once again made its mark in the world of fashion. This season, colours have emerged bigger, brighter and bolder and no matter where you look, colour is everywhere … from clothes and shoes to handbags and accessories!

But if all these rainbow hues feel a bit overwhelming, don’t worry. Here are 3 simple tips to help you incorporate this trend into your wardrobe while providing an instantly chic update to your look:

1) The brighter, the better
While you might be tempted to go for softer shades, this season it’s all about the brights! Choose a colour that will stand out in a crowd and will have all of the attention on you! Shades of Fuchsia, Marigold, and Cobalt are some of the hottest colours of the season and they compliment all skin tones!

2) One is the magic number
When it comes to bold colour, it’s best to stick with one statement piece, whether it be a brightly coloured cardigan or a great handbag in a bold hue! You want the one item you choose to be the focus of your ensemble so it’s better to let it speak for itself and not have it compete with something else.

3) All in the family

I’m constantly on the go … whether it’s commuting to work, going to meetings, travelling up to Canada to visit The Shopping Channel or trying to get to a red-carpet event on time. My day can be pretty unpredictable, so I always prepare for the unexpected and, often times, that leads to a lot of unnecessary clutter and junk in my handbag.
