A few months ago as I was dreaming up my new spring collection I was thinking about the importance of change. I believe change is good for you because it’s what keeps you fresh, connected and young. So here are my fashion tips for Spring 2009:

For daytime and at the office, I recommend breaking free from your routine workwear. Mix things up and experiment with proportions and colors. Push boundaries and enjoy getting dressed in the morning! My lavender leather jacket with braid detailing is the perfect option to do so.

For evening it’s time to show off and to look and feel great! You’ve got a whole world of fashion to play with. I created my fun suede jacket with animal print exactly for this – to be an easy way to dress up basics.

Finally, weekend wear doesn’t necessarily mean ultra casual. Take more fashion liberties elevating your dress-code-free days without sacrificing comfort. My bold colorful reversible raincoat with pleated collar will add instant sophistication to your most casual outfit! Feel great stepping out of the house, no matter what day it is.

For my first blog I thought I would talk to you about my philosophy on fashion. For me, I think fashion should be easy - and that you should have fun getting dressed.

My suggestion is to start with a clean slate: simple black pants or a great, feminine pencil skirt and a little black top. And then build on that with a fantastic jacket and accessories that adds colour, texture and your own sense of style.
