Michael is the Director of Marketing for The Shopping Channel, and along with a super team of dedicated marketing professionals is responsible for customer acquisition, retention and brand development for all media including television, digital and print.
Armed with a B.A. from Carleton University and a M.B.A. from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, Michael established his expertise in product and marketing management at Black & Decker, made his move into the virtual world when he joined Levi Strauss & Co. Canada, and worked at Hudson's Bay Company as a Director in their CRM practice as well as orchestrating Hbc's online strategy. Most recently, Michael was General Manager/Director of Shopping for CanWest Interactive, a division of CanWest Mediaworks Publications Inc.

He most recently moderated a panel on eCommerce in Canada at the Canada Post-Direct Catalogue Council, and was a keynote speaker in 2005/2006. Michael has appeared as a guest lecturer at the Rotman School of Management (University of Toronto), the Schulich School of Business (York University), the Ryerson School of Retail Management and most recently at the John Molson School of Business (Concordia University).
What does Michael love to shop for the most? All things from the electronics category of course, plus several great buys from the Outdoor category (watching my back yard flowers explode after using RootBlast this year!) and a not-so-secret passion for very certain lines within the Beauty category that help hold back the ravages of time!
