This hand engraved & milgrain ring is an original design from an antique model, using diamonds to enhance the glow of a Star Ruby at its centre. The style is classic Art Deco, with an open deco buckle in the middle of the shank. Star Rubies have rare rutilated crystal inclusions that allow the stone to show its rare rayed star effect (called asterism). Smaller accent rubies feature a black rhodium finish along the gemstone setting to accentuate their colour.
