The Shopping Channel welcomes Greta back!

I was thrilled to run into TV Host Greta Culliford in the Host Office yesterday. Although we had stayed in touch by email, it was so nice to see her in person after her 4-month leave from The Shopping Channel.

Many of you stayed in touch with her as well, via comments posted on this blog. So I thought I’d grab my camcorder and shoot a quick video of Greta - she was eager to let you all know how she is doing. She also gives you the inside scoop on when she’ll be back on air.

    Hi everyone,

    Just wanted to personally welcome the beautiful Greta back. Both inside and out this women has a lovely, genuine sparkle.

    I also notice that Debra is missing from the host list. Has she officially left the shopping channel? If so, I will miss her immensely. Shopping along with her was always so fun and easy!

    Also, where is our tried and true BettyJean? Haven’t seen her in ages. She is like a veteran in true professionalism and wit. Hope all is well with her and Bill!

    I’m sure that others are wondering the same questions about some of our favourite hosts! Please keep us informed!!!

    I am just curious is Kristen Slind still a host and what about Debra Spring I recently look at your host list and did not see the above host names.

    Welcome back Greta! It’s so wonderful to see you on air again.
    I saw Debra on air not long ago but now her picture is gone from the host list. Did she leave?
    Where is BJ? Haven’t seen her in ages.
    Please let us know what is happening with the hosts!

    Are you going to be doing Xmas in July this year or have you droped it. You are all doing a great job, wish I could come and see your store but not able as I don/t walk well because of Lupus.\, also why is there such a difference in sizes fir 3X? some go to 49′ hips and some go to 52 and some to 59, because of Lupus I am on Prednisone and have put on 100lb I am 59′ hips I hope you don’t mind me enquiring about this.

    I’m just re-inquiring about the abesense of Betty Jean from the air ways! We veteren TSC shoppers are sure feeling a void when watching most mornings!

    Also, What about Debra’s rapid departure. She was on air one week and then her bio was missing from the host list!

    Several people have written in on these two questions of absense, yet no one from the shopping channel has answered or even addressed our inquiries! I thought that the blog worked both ways. We consumers participate in tandem with the channel. Please keep us informed and address our questions promptly! Thank-you

    Just in regards to the post from Leanne I agree with her 100% There have “missing” hosts since the beginning of June and not one has been answered by the shopping channel. Why have this blog if the customers questions can not be answered.

    Not too late, but I sincerely send a Big Welcome back to Greta, you look great, and back to your usual good and appreciated personality, hope you are feeling much better, and to you, you have been back since May, and I am sure it is like you never left. I have not seen Betty Jean for a while, is she O.K.? or on vacation, haven’t seen much of Debra, and for ages “Agasse” we are interested in our hosts, and appreciate if we could be informed, if is personal we will understand, if we don’t get the details. Love you all, and I will continue to watch the shows, with your great items, that you make available to us. Just a suggestion, your list needs to be updated especially your Hosts & Models. I think you owe this to the viewers.

    Hi everyone -

    Many of you have been writing / calling in to ask about a few of the faces you’re used to seeing regularily on The Shopping Channel.

    Host Debra Spring will no longer be gracing our TV broadcast. We know she was a long-time favourite among many of you and you’ll miss seeing her.

    Betty-Jean has taken a temporary leave to care for her husband, former TV Host Bill Allison, who is currently ill. She has given us the OK to share this news with the many fans who have been asking about her. Like all of you, our thoughts & prayers are with the Allison family.

    We appreciate all your comments and do our best to share news & updates about the goings-on at The Shopping Channel. And we look forward to more of your comments coming in.
