Achieve handbag zen with a few simple steps from Maxx NY
I’m constantly on the go … whether it’s commuting to work, going to meetings, travelling up to Canada to visit The Shopping Channel or trying to get to a red-carpet event on time. My day can be pretty unpredictable, so I always prepare for the unexpected and, often times, that leads to a lot of unnecessary clutter and junk in my handbag.
Lucky for me, MAXX New York makes some pretty amazing totes that are not only great for lugging around all of my daily needs, but they’re also designed with an array of organizational features like exterior pockets, zippered compartments, cell phone/PDA pockets and even detachable ID/credit card cases on certain styles! Our bags keep me super organized and help save valuable time that might have been wasted digging around for my favorite new lip-gloss!
But just in case you’re needing a little more help, here are some easy tips to keep your handbag better organized:
• Use pouches to separate and contain like items inside your bag. Clear or mesh pouches are a great option because they allow you to see what’s inside at a quick glance.
• Choose different colored pouches to color code what is stored inside. These will also help make changing purses quick and simple!
• Use small, travel-size versions of your beauty products instead of the full-size versions. You should also opt for a folding hairbrush and a small mirror versus bulkier items to help free up some much-needed space inside your bag!
• Try to clean out your handbag at least once a week to get rid of unnecessary clutter and things you just don’t need!
I’ll see you back at The Shopping Channel on Valentine’s Day with Maxx NY’s new collection of fresh and exciting styles for Spring!
