A fun-draising night out for myself & 7 lovely gals
Like my fellow TV Hosts here at The Shopping Channel, I heartfully believe how important it is to help those that are truly in great need and to give them support and hope as they go through difficult times. This past weekend, I attended a black tie fundraiser for Halton Women’s Place, a shelter for women and children.
As an Oakville resident it was a must attend. A group of eight of us went in style (via limo) and did some serious fundraising. As an avid footbal fan, it was a thrill for me to meet Michael “Pinball” Clemons (Argonauts CEO) and his lovely wife Diane, who together raised awareness and spoke to the needs of many.
What a group of lovely ladies if I do say so myself. On my left is my cousin Tina Triano. Tina is VP of Fundraising for Credity Valley Hospital (Mississauga, ON) and is a Director on the Halton Women’s Place Board. She initiated this event and brought all us gals together for this cause.

My comment would be with the supplies from “SKINN” skin care products. Dimitri, never brings any significant amounts of the Orchid gel, or is it TSC not requesting more of it. I get frustrated when there are no supplies, even before it airs, it is unavailable, and even when he is not visiting, it is never replenished. I then decide to purchase absolutely nothing, from his line. My opinion is SKINN, and of course Elizabeth Grant products, are the two most effective, and in terms of price, there are a few other good ones, PRAI for example, but too expensive, and some good effective products are also no longer available, from Cathy’s line. Parthena, was an excellent line, and since that is no more at TSC, Dimitri, who was once with them should continue where he left off, the Orchid gel was even better, but it is still excellent. Skin Products should be smooth, velvety, silky etc. and TSC would see the difference in purchases. Cathy Kangas knows about that too, but no longer continues

I too am also wondering how Betty Jean is doing as well as hubby Bill?
It is very strange not seeing BJ, what a classy lady. I was recovering from my 3rd brain surgery when I started watching TSC, I am pretty well home bound due to many medical problems. Most days I enjoy the interaction of the hosts with guests.
Back to BJ, I pray & hope you & your hubby are in good health,
I realize some things are very private but it is hard not seeing you or hearing anything from the other hosts.

I was just exchanging e-mails with BJ the other day and can share with all her fans that she is doing well. As many of you know, BJ has been on temporary leave to help care for her husband (and former TV Host) Bill Allison.
Do know that BJ has been reading all the Comments you’ve all been lovely enough to post. She appreciates the thoughts and best wishes that have been sent her way.
As soon as I hear any news about BJ’s return I’ll be sure to share it here.

Please, I am requesting an update on your Hosts & Models profile, you have some new models etc. and the profiles are really out dated. We love them, and find it interesting reading, we are constantly viewing them on your shows, and surely there has to be some update.
