Looking for quick & healthy meal ideas for the new year
My New Year’s resolution is to find healthier ways to eat faster. With three kids and a full time job getting healthy meals on the table quickly can sometimes be difficult.
My goal this year is to find recipes that my children will eat (always an issue with kids!) that I can prepare and serve quickly and easily. So bring on ideas for me! Lunches are also an issue as they get bored of sandwiches, so I’m looking for some new things to pack them for school as well.
I’ll be testing out some of our own products as well as recipes I find online & from other Moms, and I will let you know how it goes.
Post any ideas & tips you have!
Renee

Hi Renee! After much experimentation (sorry kids!) here is my no-fail recipie for a healthy, fast smoothy that my kids (and I love!) for lunch on weekends:
2 Cups of crused ice
2 cups of yogurt (we like Liberte brand, 2% the best)
A generous dollup of honey
1 Cup of Soy Milk
Blend this all up…
Now add two frozen bananas (yes, as your bananas get brown, thrown them in the freezer - peel/cut them with a knife into the blender)
Next, add a cup of either frozen blueberries or frozen strawberries. Not only is it easier to find both these fruits frozen at this time of the year (I just bought a big bag of frozen strawberries at Costco for $10), they make for a thicker smoothie!).
Blend it all up (enough for four) and enjoy!
Mike
Hey Mike Thanks. I will try it for breakfast on those fast paced running out the door days.
Hello:
I like all your hosts and hostesses, but please tell Tiffany to stop talking when your guest is trying to tell about the product they are trying to sell to us. It is very annoying when two people are talking at the same time.
All and all I enjoy watching the hosts on TSC.however some tend to talk too much, when they are together with a host that knows their products better. In my experience Orlena rambles on TOO much in general.Eg Sandy, the expert on clothing,COATS,ETC,often seems to have little opportunity to get her important points across because of hosts like Orlena,DENISE AND sometimes even the veteran BJ is jumping in to interrupt.I do understand that their job is to speed up the presentation, but it is so, so, annoying when they start TALKING RE HOW GOOD IT LOOKS ETC…I NEED TO HEAR sizes instead and measurements MOORE OFTEN,and less of the small talk.I do not enjoy watching the hosts ramble idol talk.I ENJOY HOSTS LIKE GRETA,SUSAN,NORM,CAROL and RENEE.THESE ARE MY FAVORITE HOSTS.They are humorous but also give the guest an opportunity to present their products.
