Celebrating 10 years with Elizabeth Grant
We’re just gearing up for a fun and hopefully heart-warming tribute to a remarkable lady. As promotions manager at The Shopping Channel, I’ve worked with many guests over the years, but I’ve never met anyone quite like Elizabeth Grant. How do you possibly describe her? She’s warm, caring, inspirational and downright hilarious. For the past number of years, I’ve put together Elizabeth’s Birthday Celebration which includes a special phone line for her Torricelumn girls (and boys, there are a number of them out there) to call and wish her well. The response is always overwhelming. I’m not sure what it is, but there’s something about Elizabeth that just makes you want to tell her how much you love her.
I also so respect her because she’s always first in line to help out a worthy cause. She was there at the beginning of our Together, We Can Make A Difference fundraiser back in 2006 and was instrumental in building the program into the success it is today.
Did you catch her as she opened our big fundraising telethon on June 24?
Many around the office had remarked that they had a lump in their throat listening to her encourage her girls to step up and help in the fight. She truly spoke from the heart, unscripted and unrehearsed! And she sold through 600+ Surprise Boxes in a matter of minutes.
This weekend is shaping up to be a special visit, we’re capturing clips of our hosts recalling their favourite Elizabeth moments, we’re going to air a special tribute montage celebrating her life and career and at 3 pm ET on Saturday July 19, we’ll be presenting Elizabeth with a lifetime achievement award. Hope you’ll tune in!

you are an inspiration, I enjoy and love watching and listening to you. Since the beginning I have used the AM and PM I won’t live without it. I watch for all the specials for it. I am retired now so can’t buy like I used to
BUT please continue to include these TWO ALWAYS cause they are all I can afford now. AND I want them!!!!! be WELL!!
I am just about to present Elizabeth with her award at the top of our 3pm show, I am getting excited!! I have just spoken to my producer and we are all anticipating a fantastic show.
I’ve got to touch up my make-up now, I’m on in half an hour!!

Hi, Elizabeth. You are like a good book that one cannot put down–I can’t seem to get too far from the television while you are on air because I might miss something! You are so funny; so inspirational, caring and so genuine. And I am always eager to hear your comments, tips and how to use your products.
I love to hear the tidbits of your life that you share and I especially enjoyed the clips of you through the years shown today on TSC. What a beautiful lady, then and now!
I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Torricelum comes from the sea. I have been using your products since Nov. 2003 and would find it difficult to choose a ‘favourite’. I think I would have to say the serums, especially the eye serum and the advanced eye cream. Can’t be without them at my age of 53! I love it when people tell me they think I’m in my late 30s.

Hi Elizabdth I love watching you and learning about talking care of my skin. I first saw you back in May of 2008 and I was shocked to see you looked younger than me and I am 53 years young; so I orderd your products and love them I was lucky to get 2 of your show stoppers yesterday and 2 anti wrinke pens and a few mor items. I also bought your handbag last week and I love that as well.
Congratulations on your award and for all you have done for your girls. By the way my middle name is Elizabeth llove watching you and your granddaughter is beautiful as well. I am looking forward to looking as young as you; if ever you are in the Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia drop in.
