Our Canadian Diamonds collection - a year in the making

It is so nice to finally bring the Canadian DiamondShow to The Shopping Channel. These diamonds come from this amazing country, deep in the Arctic tundra of the Northwest Territories.

We’ve been wanting to bring this to our customers for a long time. We started working on it last year, but trying to get just the right program took a lot longer than we thought it would. About three times as long! It’s finally coming together this Canada Day, how appropriate is that?

We wanted our collection to be special and we wanted all the solitaire stones to be inscribed and certified by an independent organization. This was important because we wanted customers to be comfortable and confident with their purchase. We went with settings that would be just that little bit more solid and refined than you might find elsewhere.

It is the first time we have done the “Really Big Occasion Classic Diamonds” - the engagement, the anniversary, that special birthday, those “Most Wanted” milestone Diamonds.

The fact that these diamonds are a piece of the Canadian natural landscape make them even more special. We hope you fall in love with this collection as much as we have.

These diamonds were truely spectacular. They had the most brilliant fire I have ever seen in a diamond. Those who purchased them will be amazed by their beauty when they get them home. Proud to see such wonder in the launch of our Canadian Diamonds. Kudos to the buyers.

I can’t even begin to tell you how pleased I am to one, learn that Canada has its own diamond mines and two, to see The Shopping Channel showcase them like this. Truly awesome.

Now ethical consumers who want to make sure they are not encouraging the blood diamond trade can rest asured that since these diamonds are mined here, they are backed by our government’s employment and safety standards.

I think I may even treat myself to some earings this Fall.
